History of Prime Trax Video

I started chasing races across the Midwest.   Attending over 100 races per season, I got my fill of auto racing.   During the off season, I was quickly bored as there were no races.   I traveled to Florida to catch some racing but that didn't fill the entire off season in West Michigan.   While attending races during the season, I began purchasing videos of the races from tracks that had a video service.   I found that about one in three tracks had a video service.   I quickly determined that if I brought my own video camera to the races, I could tape them myself and save some money.   After watching tapes from various tracks and services, I felt that my product was indeed better than theirs.   Berlin Raceway did not have a video service.   Within two weeks, I   became the official videographer of all events at the Berlin Raceway and have been since 1993.  

Since 1993, Prime Trax Video has filmed over 1,300 racing events.   Every season an annual crash video/dvd is produced with a collection of 500-750 crashes and many flips from several tracks.   Since 1999, Prime Trax Video has had a waiting list to offer services at Michigan race tracks.   Currently, Prime Trax Video tapes racing events weekly on Friday's and Saturday's only.   Select Sunday's and weekday special shows are filmed.  

Prime Trax Video also films and produces antique wooden boat shows.   The Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show from Hessel Michigan (U.P. of Michigan) is filmed annually.   1994 through 1998, 2004 and 2005 are available.   Future boat shows are scheduled.
